Koulutuksen sisältö
Tässä koulutuksessa, joka on 1. osa kolmen koulutuksen sarjaa, käsitellään hallituksen rooleja ja tehtäviä sekä niiden merkitystä organisaatiossa. Opit tunnistamaan omistajan, hallituksen ja johdon väliset valtasuhteet sekä kohtaamaan omistajien asettamat haasteet hallitustyössä. Koulutuksessa pureudutaan erilaisten hallitusten tehokkuuteen ja arvioidaan, millainen on hyvän hallinnon perusta organisaatiossa.
Tietoja kouluttajasta: Matti Jaakola
Matti Jaakola on toiminut 80-luvun alusta lähtien kansainvälisten ja kotimaisten yritysten markkinointi- ja johtotehtävissä. Kokemusta Jaakola on hankkinut metsäteollisuudesta Pohjois-Euroopan alueen toimitusjohtajana Georgia-Pacific Corporationissa ja laajemmin Metsäliitossa, jossa hän on toiminut pitkään eri tehtävissä sekä Suomessa että ulkomailla.

Course description
This training, which is the 1st part of a series of three trainings, covers the roles and tasks of the board and their significance in the organization. You will learn to identify the power relations between the owner, the board of directors and the management and to face the challenges set by the owners in board work. The training focuses on the effectiveness of different boards and assesses what the foundation of good governance is like in an organization.
About the instructor: Matti Jaakola
Matti Jaakola has worked in marketing and management positions in international and domestic companies since the early 80s. Jaakola has gained experience in the forest industry as the Managing Director of the Northern European region at Georgia-Pacific Corporation and more broadly at Metsäliitto, where he has worked for a long time in various positions both in Finland and abroad.
