The training illustrates how the process begins with a formal written negotiation proposal and describes the employer’s duty to assess alternative solutions, even though the employer retains final decision‑making authority once the negotiation period concludes. The course also outlines post‑termination obligations, including the 14‑day layoff notice period, the 4–6 month re‑employment obligation for similar roles, and—applicable to companies with more than 30 employees—the obligation to provide employment‑promoting training and six months of occupational healthcare to employees with at least five years of service.
